Responsibilities of the role:

Due to the Global Equity business expecting considerable growth in the region, our client, is seeking a high calibre senior technology leader to manage and implement a new Equity Risk and Equity OTC Derivatives Sales & Trading platform in Asia.

This will include, overseeing and/or strategically changing aspects of the current environment to ensure best in class technology solutions are implemented to support current and future business growth.

Requirements of the role:

• Strong experience in large systems architecture and design with a proven track record of operating large complex systems and projects with multi-regional cross-teams dependencies 
• Detailed knowledge of end-to-end derivatives systems from pricing, trading, booking and risk management, understanding of trade flows and complexities to deliver solutions for fast time to market and time to volume
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of seniority, both technical and business.
• Desire and ability to engage and partner with the business at the correct levels to ensure effective and efficient change
• Self-starting, problem solver with the ability to motivate, lead and mentor team members in different locations.
• Ability to work closely within the global team to contribute to the development of the global solutions as well as implement and enhance technology from other regions into Asia.
• Ability to balance regional and global priorities and concurrently run tactical and strategic streams of work including projects governance and prioritization of multiple stakeholders from different countries and business lines.
