Key Job Responsibilities

  • At the direction of - Asia GTMO Executive / head - International Branch Operations and & Global Payments, Asia Region, acts as the point person for supporting GTMO businesses operating in the country.
  • Support Country Exco and other leadership forums including internal management meeting activities, reporting, processes etc in supporting GPS clients and client managers.
  • Possess strong knowledge of Cash Management/Payments products in corporate banking, local clearing, trade products and general corporate operations
  • Liaise with other positions in Legal, Compliance, and Audit etc as necessary on internal and external audits and inspections in order to maintain top class operational excellence in the function.
  • Coordinate Global Payments related control functions within the Intl Branch Operations in a manner and in accordance with enterprise-wide governance standards (control functions, supervision, brand management, reputation risks, etc.)
  • Support the Country Risk Committee on adherence to comply with local governance requirements. Manage full accountability of the same for GTMO functions within the country.
  • Provide advice on country specific initiatives and risks including major changes to the corporate structure, maintenance of a sound system of internal control and risk management in GTMO
  • Consolidate business plans across GTMO in the Country for presentation to Government/Regulatory authorities to obtain business grants/waivers
  • Manage Integration projects as and when required, help support growth of business in the country

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/COMPETENCIES

  • Has held a senior mgt position in one of the following areas – operations, finance/accounting(Required)
  • Held a similar position for a minimum of 2 years. (Desired)
  • Strong leadership and management through collaboration and negotiation. (Required)
  • Project Mgt/Change Mgt/Process improvement (Six Sigma desirable) (Expert)
  • Influencing abilities without authority (Expert)
  • Product Knowledge – Cash Management (Payments); Trade Finance; Local Clearing and regulatory knowledge; Operational risk management practices (Audit/Control); Global Markets Products (Expert)
